Shiloh Gardens Academy has proudly served the greater New Orleans area for over 19 years! We are dedicated to providing a fun, warm, and educational atmosphere that encourages children to grow at their own pace. We have created a stimulating learning environment that develops each child socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. We are especially devoted to teaching literacy skills, instilling in your child a lifelong love of reading. WE TEACH SPANISH

Our Spanish curriculum includes common everyday phrases as well as vocabulary in following categories; Numbers, Colors, Food, Fruit and Vegetables, House Items, Body Parts, Family, Clothes, Vehicles, Nature, Animals in Spanish. Our students learn how to greet guests, introduce themselves, and count to 20 and beyond in Spanish!

Infant & Toddler Classrooms

Pre-School Classrooms

Our preschool classrooms mark the milestone at which students at Shiloh Gardens Academy start wearing uniforms. Our preschool students wear uniforms to help them make a mental transition from a toddler classroom to a structured preschool classroom. The uniform at Shiloh Gardens Academy consists of a solid red polo shirt and the choice of khaki, black, or gray bottoms.

  • How will I know what happens during my child's day?

    Daily schedules are posted in the foyer and each classroom describing times for activities, meals, and other procedures through the day.

  • Will my child be challenged academically?

    Our program is designed to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond. Shiloh Gardens believes in developing the full potential of every child in our care. We use comprehensive, research-based curriculums that integrate instruction across developmental domains and early learning disciplines. We blend a combination faith teachings and beginning Spanish with our curriculums to help create a limitless educational journey for young children.

  • Do you provide part-time or drop-in care?

    Yes, we provide part-time and drop-in care if space is available.

  • How will I know that my child is safe while I am at work?

    Shiloh Gardens Academy is committed to the safety and security of our students and teachers. All visitors must present identification and register in visitor logs after being buzzed-in. The children’s parents or guardians must authorize any alternate caregivers for drop-off and/or pick-up, and these caregivers must present identification.

  • Do you provide meals and snacks?

    We provide 2 nutritious meals (breakfast and lunch) and snacks daily.

  • How are misbehaving students disciplined?

    We practice re-direction and quiet time, a copy of our discipline policy is posted in the foyer of the center, in each classroom, and parent handbook.

  • Do children go outside every day?

    Children have outdoor play in 20-30 minute increments at least twice per day if weather permits.

  • What are your teacher qualifications?

    All our Lead Teachers are Certified. Teacher Assistants are required to acquire certifications within 2 years of employment.
