OUR TEACHERS

With an array of fun-filled activities, our preschool child development program focuses on building cognitive performance through child-initiated, cooperative play. Our teachers introduce these active and enthusiastic learners to a more structured curriculum and new academic concepts in language, literacy, mathematics, and science. Our staff have a commitment to continuous professional development in early childhood education. Many of them are attending school to work on degrees, and ALL staff are certified in CPR & First Aid.

Wanda is a mother of four and a grandmother of five. She has worked for the Orleans Parish school system for 34 years until she retired. She has been a proud member of the Shiloh Gardens Academy family since August of 2020. She likes to be called “The Cafeteria Lady”
