Program Overview

Our 4 year olds enter a highly academic foundation program preparing students for Kindergarten. The students will learn beginning reading skills along with phonics, math computations, science, social studies, and music. The students will develop both academically and socially throughout the school year. Learning Center offers a full range of early learning and child development programs. The entire center is based on a proven, effective curriculum of early childhood education that helps children prepare for school, social environments, and beyond. While our focus is on learning, it is balanced with fun activities that help children stay excited and looking forward to each new day.

Milestones goals that have been established by TNELDS and NAEYC is included but not limited to the list below.

Initiate play and interact positively with another child or children.
Attempts to communicate by mixing jargon with real words
Points to objects and or uses gestures to show or direct attention to something
Start to hold a crayon with her fingers, usually with her hand at the top of the crayon
Recognize herself in the mirror or photograph and smile or make faces at herself
